FUN! FUN! FUN! This is a delightful book on different activities from solo adventures like learning to dive to great big ones like building model boats. It feels like you are reading a scout adventure book. . I loved the retro drawing on the cover .The introduction to this book says it all:
Boys like to hunt, explore and build things, and this book covers all that and more. And being a mother of a son, I know that they will make things up or invent things to do and use if needed. (Like the time my son figured out he could make a torch with a lighter and a can of aerosol hairspray)!!!!
It shows everything from learning to tie a knot to building a fishing rod and how to bait it, to building a raft to float on and learning to juggle or how to train your dog. It covers so much also. If I had this book when my son was young, I think my hair would have stayed brown a little longer!!! But I do know I will give him this as he now has 2 sons of his own!!! A great book to share or give as a gift.. I know I will enjoy giving mine!!
