Chicken Soup has done it yet again! It gives us stories that touch our hearts and make us laugh out loud as we read, and it connects us with people we will never meet, yet feel like we have know forever! This book has a special place for me as I am a twin! My sister and I were born 5 minutes apart, and I was the last to arrive! We went through the “twin” thing as kids, like putting us in matching outfits (which lasted a very short time) as we are IDENTICAL. Once you had us in matching outfits you really could not tell us apart, and the fact we HATED it was another thing. And then the same haircuts was really bad too, which is why I think as soon as I had any kind of say, I immediately cut off all my hair, and at age 14 started to experiment with color! Now of course we didn’t see how anyone couldn’t tell us apart, and only our close families and friends could. But it was fun sometimes when people really had no idea who they were talking to, and the look of total confusion when we were side by side was at time hilarious. But on another note, it could be very frustrating, and made us feel like we were not our own person. The one thing I remember as kids and even teens was always getting the same birthday card, or the exact same presents. I mean how anyone can really think that we would want to share so much. This book tells all of that and much more. It gives you a look at what it’s like to raise twins and multiples and being one of “two”! I loved this and I hope that all twins can get out of it as much as I did!
