My favorite thing about moving into a new home is the decorating. I truly believe that every house has potential. When my husband and I rented our first house, we didn’t do much decorating. The walls were bare, white, no pictures were hung. It was pretty depressing. But, the reason we didn’t want to invest into the house, is because we weren’t happy there. Once our lease was up, we moved into a beautiful apartment that was full of potential. We decided to paint the walls different colors, such as camel back brown, butter up yellow, and light tan. We hung pictures, decor, and anything else we could find to cover our bare walls. We, also, decided to invest in a good set of blinds . We try to stay cheap, but sometimes, the $3.99 blinds at Walmart just doesn’t cut it. I like to have color and variety in my house. Therefore we invested in Wood Blinds , bamboo style blinds, and darkening shades. It really adds to the color of the room, considering I am not a huge fan of curtains. The reason I don’t like curtains is, they take away from the creativity and design of the blinds. Especially if the blinds are unique, wooden, and full of different colors. I actually just found out that you can have any color blind you want, from green, pink, blue, and black. We are actually getting ready to move next year and I cannot wait to get started on decorating our new home. I will provide you with every detail, the blinds I choose, the colors, and the best ones!
