Bach!

I just realized that today is Johann Sebastian Bach's birthday (by the old calendar)! He's always been a favorite of mine. I have always enjoyed learning and playing Bach pieces on the piano and flute. There's something about the way all of the melodies and countermelodies weave together that really engages my brain. There's always something new to discover.
Interesting guy. Did you know he had 20 children? And only 2 wives. I have always wondered if those women were just exhausted.
