Mother's Day is approaching quickly. A young girl going to school on the east coast would like to do something very special for her mother this year.
Rochelle Keyhan and her mother have been separated for the past 20 years. Her mom moved to Iowa after the girl's parents divorced and she continued to live with her father in California. Due to their distance apart and financial burdens they haven't been able to visit each other as often as they would like.
Rochelle would like to be able to fly her mother out to see her this Mother's Day. In order to make that dream a reality she has entered a contest which if she won would pay for the plane ticket for her mother. Rochelle states, "If my mother were able to visit me here at school, to see the area where I'm living, the school I'm attending, and the life I am living now, it would be an unforgettable experience for both of us."
