And Chicago is the best place for drinking tea because it is always so stinking cold! I tell you what... the tea service at the Drake is a nice afternoon if you ever have need to entertain... There's a place in LA that I would like to recommend for tea - it's called Le Palais de Tea, located in Beverly Hills. The walls are lined with loose leaf tea - feel free to smell everything that you like. They also have a sample area where you can try several different varieties of their tea. If you're a fan of vanilla, chocolate, jasmine, etc. this is the place to be. Plus, it's not super expensive - runs about $10 for a bag of loose-leaf - which is reasonable considering the product that you get. And the thing that struck me about it was how smooth the tea is when you're drinking it. I never really understood that phrase until I had tea from the Palais.
