Berkeley Bowl shopping

If you live in the Bay Area and have never been to Berkeley Bowl...go. It is a very large (former bowling alley, hence the name) grocery store with a produce section unlike anything I've seen in a non-farmer's market shopping experience. They have a large selection of organic foods, all at prices that will make your jaw drop. It's so spectacular that I take out of town guests there to see it. the one down side...crowds! It can be a little chaotic. Go on weekdays, if at all possible, even weekday evenings are better than the weekend. Although, I did go last Sunday in the late afternoon, and that wasn't too bad.
