Yes, I’m BACK!!!
It has been like what, more than 2 weeks since my last post? I’m sorry for not updating this site. I just had a busy time back home and now that I’m back to my REEL world, I’m still trying to adjust with my life out here.
I had an awesome, great and fantabulous time in the Philippines. It’s weird ‘coz I’ve been going back and forth for about 5 or 6 times already and all those times that I was going home for vacation, this time was the best of all.
I think it’s because I was able to do all of the things that I was planning to do.
First, I was able to take my NCLEX-RN exam. I took it in Hong Kong (by my lonesome self) and because I chose CA BON, I’m still waiting for my pass/fail result. I’m not so confident that I pass though. I reached 265 questions and after the exam, I was almost ready to faint! It’s been more than 4 weeks now and I still haven’t received the result thru mail so, I’m pretty sure that I didn’t pass but it’s okei. I’ll just re-apply and take it again. As the saying goes, “Try and Try, Until You SUCCEED!”
Well, eventhough I didn’t pass my NCLEX, I’m happy to say that I passed my CGFNS! Yipeee….. I took it a week after and when I was taking the exam, I was all smiles because I was so confident with my answers. Thank’s to my online review materials especially the NCLEX online review at NCSBN website ( www.learningext.com ) and Saunders practice exams. Now, I can apply for my VisaScreen Certificate.
And third, I renewed my nursing license, got a student driver’s license, went to the malls that I had been planning to go to, celebrated my niece’s 7th bday and most importantly, discussed the future with my boyfriend! We don’t have the exact date and we still haven’t talked to my parents yet (well, I know that they already have an idea) but we’ve already started to do some planning. Hopefully, it’ll be next year. We’ve not decided whether it’ll be a civil or church ceremony. We still need to know our budget for it. But anything will do. For us, the important thing is to be together as husband and wife.
