So here I sat, earlier this evening - I'm at work, charging - sitting in the radio room working on some departmental statistics. The phone that functions as what they call the 'paramedic hotline' rings - as it does when an EMS crew is inbound and choose to use a phone to patch in rather than the radio. I answer, "Emergency Department, this is Erica, can I help you?"
On the other end, a voice I recognize: "Um, yeah, I just called to say hi, and that the charge nurse is hot." Click.
