I have been diagnosed with pneumonia and was told not to nurse while taking Zithromax and Prednisone (4 - 10mg tablets the first 3 days, 3 tablets for 3 days, 2 for 3 days, then 1 for 3 days). She said that I could not breastfeed no matter what. I will not be able to keep my milk up for that long by pumping and dumping, plus I do not want to give my son formula. Do you have any suggestions?.
