20 more days to go before Christmas and for the 2nd time, I’ll be celebrating the Holiday Season here in KSA, miles away from my loved ones. I’m trying not to think about it so much but because 2 of my friends are going home this month, it adds up to the homesickness that I feel!
It’s really very hard for expats like me to celebrate this season away from home. In addition to being away from family and loved ones, I kept on remembering my grandpa who just passed away a couple of months ago. My phonebill is almost $200, excluding the call cards and cellphone loads that I bought a few days ago, and it’s not even Christmas yet!!!
