Updated Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) online courses are now available at www.healthedsolutions.com. The certification courses have been updated to reflect the American Heart Association’s new 2010 first aid and life support guidelines. Both courses are offered by Health Education Solutions, the leading provider of continuing education solutions for healthcare professionals.
To help medical professionals, first responders and others interested in learning lifesaving skills understand the updated guidelines and the changes to the ACLS course and PALS course, Health Education Solutions has released a “New Science” Special Section in its online research library.
“Staying up-to-date with the latest knowledge and techniques in your field is vital when your job involves saving lives,” said Melissa Marks, president of Health Education Solutions. “Health Education Solutions’ online research library and certification courses keep healthcare professionals and first responders informed and prepared.”
The new special section can serve as a PALS and ACLS study guide to the changes in these important skill sets. It is free and available for individuals requiring healthcare certification, as well as those who simply want to be prepared to provide care in an emergency situation. ACLS/ PALS study guide highlights include:
· Do the New Life Support Guidelines Mean I Have to Retake My ACLS Test?

· Three Protocol Changes You Might See in Your BLS Class
· Online CPR Certification – Changes in Protocol
Health Education Solutions offers the ACLS course and PALS course and exams for first responders and healthcare professionals, as well as first aid courses and CPR and AED training for individuals seeking lifesaving skills. ACLS and PALS courses were developed in partnership with Union College.
