Hi,

I just found something that you'd written May 29, 2008, [Natural Treatment for Seborrheic Dermatitis... and Itchy Scalp] and I was interested in your comments and approach.

Any suggestions on how to loosen tough scales on the scalp without provoking more lesions to appear? The shampoos specifically made for dry scalp simply dry and irritate mine more.  I am working with my diet and have stayed clear of all nightshade family of vegetables for about 3 months so far, and within the last 2 weeks I've added wheat and sugar to the no-eat list.

I know it takes time but the countless flakes falling like snow and the ugly red patches don't add to my feeling of self-confidence at all. ;( Scratching only creates more of the mess, ugh.  Help!

P.S.  There's something wrong going on here with the font, so please excuse the funny look.

yes, taking a walk, dancing a jig, just about anything that gets your blood flowing and the more the better.  The problem is that when you are depressed you can't get yourself to do it -- so friends (as I have asked everyone my whole life) lets go play frisbee or go do something - even 15 minutes can make all the difference.  When my daughter was little I could drag her with me, knowing it was good for both of us.  Now that she has grown, there is no one in my immediate family or friends who enjoys being/doing physical things. (All of them need it but ...) I have tried to hint about how important it is for my well being but I don't think they get it - "What's the matter with you?"  I NEED SOMEONE TO PLAY WITH/or why doesn't mom make us go outside and play?
