Health knowledge made personal
Bio
I was diagnosed with multiple myeloma at the tender age (for this disease) of 40 in November of 2008. Since that time, I have maintained a blog which has grown from a way to keep my close friends and family updated on my fight to something a bit broader -- I've been fortunate enough to make new friends around the world as a result.
As of the time of this writing, I have undergone very aggressive therapy including two sequential autologous stem cell transplants, and I am on the cusp of complete remission, with hopes to stay that way indefinitely. My blog is very detailed, with the goal of providing an accurate day-to-day (give or take) account of my feelings, concerns, minor triumphs and the details of therapy.
I wish you all the best in your own journey with cancer -- don't give it an inch.
