I am a "retired" interpreter for the deaf, a freelance writer, wife, mother, and grandmother. Due to Chronic Neurological Lyme Disease and CFIDS, I am homebound and enjoy life from my sofa sanctuary. I enjoy reading, drawing, writing, blogging, and photography.

I have chronic Lyme and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (also known as CFIDS and ME). I was diagnosed with Lyme 2 years ago and CFIDS/ME 9 months ago. I am also the mother of a hopping toddler boy. Learning to negotiate life and illness at the same time takes some balance that I'm still developing! I'm a health educator who works in the private sector. I'm a 37 year old woman with severe CFS/ME (bedridden) who has also been diagnosed with Lyme.  I enjoy reading (or rather, listening to) audiobooks, photography, music, the outdoors, travel (back when I could), writing, and enjoying friends, family and my wonderful fiance.
