im not a doctor but i think you should take valtrex + valcyte and stay on it, even if the antibodies rise. sometimes a big rise in antibodies means the immune system is "seeing" the virus and mounting an attack. keep checking blood work (liver kidney etc) regularly!

ms due to ebv, hhv6 , and cmv ,rxed. with valtrexand famvir. dx. at mayo by mri [tweeked] to see 7 cervical lesions not seen on 1.5 tesla mri in jackson .\, ms.dfide well until steroids were used for severe poison oak swelling of hands. steroid rx. at mayo when cmv , hhv6, and cmv increased . much worse after steroids . cmv stayed up and ebv and hhv6 stayed down. started valcyte and was the best i had been for 5 years[ could run for first time] cmv decteased from 24 to 3.57 ,but after 3 months , i was doiing worse [hhvs to 1250 , ebv to 24. back to valtrex and famvir and better.
