Seven Reasons to Play the Game

Posted Sep 16 2010 10:01am

By now you have probably heard of the online idea-generating game that the MRF is hosting this fall at . The purpose of the game is to recruit biotech people and medical researchers for online game play in an effort to find a new approach to the drug development system. So now that you know what it is, you may be wondering why you should play the game. Listed below are seven reasons we think you should participate:

  1. You get to play with the coolest and smartest folks– we are amazed at the representation in our registration list already (academia, high government officials, nonprofits, industry etc.)
  2. You get to reimagine the future and come up with solutions. If you like to solve real-world challenges, this is your chance.
  3. You’ll be part of a forward-thinking crowd that are working collaboratively through game play
  4. You’ll win badges or awards for your ideas and game play. Who doesn’t like to receive recognition for their ideas?
  5. Your ideas will be improved through the game’s discussion-type format. In similar games in the past game-players were amazed at how their ideas developed during the game.
  6. You’ll have a chance to influence influencers, as we mentioned important decision-makers will be playing and listening to you. The Myelin Repair Foundation and Robert Wood Johnson Foundation’s Pioneer Portfolio will be publishing the results afterwards so that we share the learnings with a wider audience.
  7. It doesn’t take much time, you can drop in for a few minutes during the 24-hour period from October 7 -8 (9am- 9am Pacific Time).

We hope you register and we can’t wait to hear your ideas!
