Multiple Sclerosis, Ankle Pain is Arthritis, and Fix My Pool, Please

Posted Jun 06 2009 11:29pm
I'm suddenly having a lot of pain, and swelling in my right ankle, the leg that the Bioness 300 is on. Went last night, my ankle is encrusted with arthritis, the result of having broken the ankle, and spraining numerous times in my youth. I have no idea if it caused by the stimulator, but it makes me wonder. The doc told me last night, it is like I have a spur that is suddenly jabbing into the soft tissue, causing swelling, so much for the break I was hoping to catch! I guess the next stop is to an orthopedic specialist.

I go on Monday to meet with the people from Dankmeyer, and from Bioness. Time is running out on the trial period for the stim, I need to figure out what I'm going to do. By the way, the trial period isn't free, it's $500 a month. If you think about it, my right ankle has been purposely immobilized for the last 3 years, and not very useful for the last 10, so I guess I should have expected some mines on the road to regaining some mobility.

The pool is a total disaster this year! The small leak in the liner I hoped to be able to fix, or have fixed, apparently didn't exist? The day before we planned on taking the cover off, the water suddenly disappeared! Yes, I said disappeared. We are talking about, approximately 10,000 gallons of water, and it's gone, and there is no sign of it! It wasn't a hole in the liner, the liner fell off, yes off. We have, I should say had, a liner with a bead along the top that fit in a channel. I haven't liked it from day one, and now I know why. We are having a new kiner put in this week, I will take pictures tomorrow of what I'm talking about, maybe my ankles too.
