MSAA is now offering Life Coaching to assist individuals affected by multiple sclerosis. Life coaching involves discovering new ways to help cope with life challenges. We want the MSAA Life Coaching Program to focus specifically on the life challenges you or someone you know with MS might be facing. Your valuable input can help focus our new Life Coaching Program in the direction you find most helpful.

Some areas of focus will include the following: Adjustment to the illness, including the long-term impact of living with MS Health and wellness issues Stress management Work/life balance Family relationships Medication adherence issues Self advocacy Resource identification Behavioral approaches to pain management Planning for the future Life Coaching typically involves weekly toll-free telephone sessions and a variety of “homework” type assignments to reflect upon between coaching sessions.
