I have shortness of breath several times a week. I also was diagnosed w/MS and because I am not getting my heart rate up as muc

Trouble walking (I have to use a cane) and I cannot run or walk fast.  While I do go to the local rehab gym and work out 4 or 5 times a week, I have trouble getting my heart rate up.    Also being a type 1 diabetic, the exhaustion from the MS causes my body to use up any and all sugar it has stored up and I "bottom out" a lot.... which causes more problems with being active.

My name is Tara and I am not sure what your question is exactly. If it is about the shortness of breath? I first would ask if it is due to the MS Hug  and also if you have mentioned this to your Dr? I don't want to go on because I am really not sure if the question is if shortness of breath has to do with MS or if it is about the ability of keeping Sugar levels up...

Besides trying to help answer or guide you in the right direction with your question. I would really like to APPLAUD you on your Activities you do daily!!!! Please continue to keep it up and encourage others to do the same... You are an inspiration to others!

Your MS Friend!!
