Healthy Delawareans with Disabilities: A Plan for Action

The Center for Disabilities Studies (CDS) at the University of Delaware (UD) is hosting a public session in each Delaware county the last week of October to give Delawareans the opportunity to learn about Healthy Delawareans with Disabilities: A Plan for Action.

This strategic plan was developed by the center’s Healthy Delawareans with Disabilities: Bridging the Gap (HDWD: BtG) staff and partners to provide a blueprint for legislators, policy makers, and health care providers on how to improve the health and well being of Delawareans with disabilities. Dates, times, and places are listed below.

The plan will be available in alternate formats (large print, CD ROM) upon request.

October 27. Sussex County Public Session on Healthy Delawareans with Disabilities: A Plan for Action, 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm, Milford Public Library, 11 S.E. Front Street, Milford.
October 28. New Castle County Public Session on Healthy Delawareans with Disabilities: A Plan for Action, 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm, Center for Disabilities Studies, 461 Wyoming Road, Newark.
October 30. Kent County Public Session on Healthy Delawareans with Disabilities: A Plan for Action, 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm, Dover Public Library, 45 South State Street, Dover.
