Actually, I’m enthralled with my book club’s latest selection, “The Buenos Aires Broken Hearts Club”by Jessica Morrison. Definitely chic lit. Definitely absorbing. I sit outside with a glass of wine for long stretches of time, oblivious to the birds crapping on the deck behind me or The Husband roaming the house calling my name looking for me. I'm also oblivious to the phone ringing from doctors who want more money or assistants trying to set up appointments or insurance companies talking about referrals. I'm oblivious to numbness, tingling, fatigue.
They don't exist in Buenos Aires.
I'll write when I get back. In the meantime, I'm enjoying this MS-free zone.
