If you are like me and you grew up in the 1980's, there is no doubt you were touched in some way by a movie from writer/director John Hughes. The list includes"Sixteen Candles","Home Alone","Ferris Bueller's Day Off","Uncle Buck","Weird Science","Pretty In Pink","Say Anything", "Planes, Trains & Automobiles"and one of my all-time favorites,"The Breakfast Club". Hughes had a heart attack while on walk in Manhattan this morning. He was 59. Here is a montage of his classic movies. The world lost an inspiration to the people of my generation.
