Morning Awareness, for the rest of your Day

Method :
  1. As you awake from a nights slumber, stay in bed for 10-15 minutes.
  2. At first lie perfectly still, turn onto your back and take a few deep breaths and close your eyes.
  3. Bring awareness to the dream that is so fresh in your mind. You can also bring focus and observe any thoughts entering your mind, but most importantly in stillness and silence observe and reflect for a few minutes.
  4. In complete awareness slowly raise yourself to a seated position and begin breathing in deeply and rhythmically 5 minutes, keeping awareness on any sensations within your body or mind.
  5. For the next 5 minutes relax your breath to normal, view your day, your actions and interactions, making a strong focus to visualize it in its perfect form.
  6. Open your eyes, to a new beautiful day.

Reflection upon the actions of your subconscious throughout your sleep is very important, yet very often not done. Simply observing for a few minutes, you can draw from life lessons and imagery provided within the dreams representing the knots your mind is working from your past days interactions.Breathing and visualizing your day, you are expanding and activating your lungs and stimulating your heart for both to ease into the day, with a positive perspective. Balancing your mind and body, and instilling a deep awareness throughout your day.
