Stretching for flexibility

Doing stretches after every workout is always high on the list of any fitness expert. Being flexible has many advantages. It gives you lean muscles, improves the posture, and makes you less prone to injuries. It also helps in regulating your breathing. There are a number of moves that you can use to do your stretches ... from yoga to pilates. Do them regularly and besides the physical benefits, you will feel limber enough to try out new activities. So don't forget to stretch after every workout session!

In addition to doing yoga, I am trying to incorporate small stetches into my day. For example, if I am standing in a line I can stretch a little bit, even if it's just a standing twist. It really helps to make my body feel better. Even sitting here typing this I can stretch a little bit just by opening my chest up slightly. Ahh. :-)
