Last week I sat and starred at my computer for a few too many hours between work and uploading honeymoonpictures … My eyes feel hazy, my brains felt like mush, and my butt felt flat. So this weekend I opted to disconnect and it was marvelous! I still was on my phone, exchanging messages, uploading pictures to Instagram , and occasionally Tweeting , but my computer stayed shut.
Every few months or so I let myself slip away from the social media scene. I started doing this in college when I was studying for exams. Trying to manage multiple accounts, especially when it’s not my full-time job, can be a bit much after a while… I’ll probably totally disconnect myself from everything [blogging included] for a week sometime this spring.
