The Universe sends us messages constantly to guide us on our life path to our best and highest good.
Those messages come in response to our asking, our seeking meaning, purpose and fulfillment in our lives. They come in the form of an intuitive thought, a gentle urging of the mind or heart. Sometimes they come on billboards, license plates, other people, books I read . . . the list is endless.
With a constant stream of guidance being sent to us, then why do we often feel so lost, confused, frustrated?
It’s all about the receiver. Many great spiritual speakers such as Abraham-Hicks and another anonymous speaker, have likened the Universal message sender as a radio tower or a TV station sending out a signal for hundreds of miles. We are the radio or television receiver. The message we receive all depends on where we tune our dial.
On TV you can watch anything you want - something crime and violence filled, a reality show or a cooking show. On the radio you can listen to classical music, rock music, rap music, country music . . . Within yourself you can tune quiet your mind and tune into the loving guidance sent by the Universe or you can tune in to the chatter of your mind telling you this problem is unsolveable, this problem is forever.
In April of this year, a friend sent an email to me with the new video,A STROKE OF INSIGHT, on the podcast page of my web site.(CLICK HERE TO VIEW VIDEO)It is now the end of July, I just watched it. The message from the Universe was sent months ago. I didn’t tune in my receiver until today.
Where is your dial set?

Great analogy. I think that oftentimes, the messages we really need to hear are right in our faces, but like you said, it's so easy to get consumed by all the distractions that abound in our lives that it's difficult to sometimes get the obvious. What I've realized is that the universe finds lots of ways to speak to us. It's just a matter of slowing down enough to see what's really going on. People might be surprised.
