i have a constant feel of urgency to urinate what could it be?

I am visiting my doctor tomorrow, but do not feel i can sleep tonight as i constantly feel an urgent need to urinate but then when i do it stops and it still feels like i desperately have to go, it has also been smelling very sugary it sound strange but yes like sugar puffs
