Strange how the Law of Attraction works... I have been preaching about my book Skinny Bitch to everyone and its graphic depiction of the meat/milk industries... well then I popped in my latest Blockbuster movie (sent through the mail from my list I must have put together a year ago) and guess what it was: Fast Food Nation.
I thought the movie was about obesity in America. Nope. Instead, it was like I was watching the Skinny Bitch book on video. It was like adding video to the book. Right in my face were the feedlots, the kill floors, the animals and the crap (literally) that we eat together. Weird.
Weird how it has all come together at the same moment. Weird how I just read the book and seemingly coincidentally, I watched the very same information on tv. I have spent 33 years with my head in the sand about all of this and then the topic is hitting me from every direction.
Weird coincidence! However, I don't believe in coincidences, never have. I call them God Winks... reminders that we are part of something much bigger. There's a book called God Winks, I highly recommend reading it. Its one of my favorite books. Squire Rushnell is the author.
Have you ever been talking about someone and suddenly you answer the phone and its them? Happens to all of us at one time or another. Coincidence? I don't think so. Read the book! Read the book!
I just realized that I'm always plugging books, aren't I? I'm a big reader, its a cool thing to read. I read everything, even the phone book. Ever spent time with the phonebook? Its a cool thing to read too-
