don’t forget to protect your skin from the summer sun

Posted Jul 22 08 8:03pm 2 Comments

If you are heading for the beach this summer, make sure you step out of the house with a good sun hat and sunblock. Though you may be craving for a nice healthy tan this summer, it is important not to forget the important facts of sunburns, skin care and skin cancer. Here’s some useful advice fromClarins:

1) Stay under the sun at the Right Time

Between 11am and 4pm during peak sunshine hours, try to stay in the shade. Use the time to do something fun – take a siesta, do some drawing, visit a museum, walk in the woods, bake a cake… the possibilities are endless!

2)Regular Application.

Always apply and reapply your sun protection every two hours, and more frequently in strong sun. And not just on the beach… apply first thing in the morning, as the sun can find you wherever you are!

3)Be well prepared.

Take it everywhere you go to carry your water, snacks, sunscreen, After Sun Gel, t-shirts, hats and a light jacket for when the sun goes down.

4)Use the right products.

Sun Care Cream Ultra Protection For Children SPF 30is ideal throughout the summer. Its 100% mineral sunscreens provide perfect tolerance and the formula is resistant to water and salt making it ideal for water sports.

5)Don’t neglect After Sun Protection

After their evening shower, children’s skin needs to be nourished and moisturized. ApplyAfter Sun Moisturizerfor instant colling and comfort. It’s ideal for the entire family.

Besides all the above, stepping out in the golden sun with a pair of summerSunglassesare needed to protect your eyes from the strong rays and a broad rimmed sun hat will help to keep the sun away. This summer time will see lots of these apparels being sold for the sun lover and beach goer. This is probably why replica wholesale sunglasses are becoming popular amongst consumers who love the look but not the price tage when it comes to shopping for a pair of fashionable and trendy shades.

Great tips--wearing a hat to the beach is a must. Also, physical sunblocks (with minerals like titanium and zinc) are better than chemical ones (like oxybenzone and avobenzene) because they provide protection that doesn't break down in the presence of the sun; also, chemical sunblocks get into your liver and lymph and can be hazardous to your health.
