Heyyyo! Yesterday I had a meeting with a local principal to discuss my teaching goals – he provided me with great advice and I left feeling confident about the direction that I’m headed… It makes me so excited to see my plans come to fruition!
After the meeting I swung by Starbucks and ordered a coffee light frappuccino. Did you know that you can avoid the artificial flavors and sweeteners by requesting no frapp base and adding a banana?! You can taste the banana, but it reminds me of a chocolate banana milkshake which definitely isn’t a bad thing. Thanks for the tip Brittany !
Once I got home I bundled up for my first cold run of the season (it was in the low 40′s!) and my second 5K of the week. I know that I’ve mentioned it before, but I’ve hardly run since the spring so it feels awesome to get my groove back. My pace is without a doubt slower than it was in the spring, but I’m not worried about it. Time is just a number. The feelings that I have while running are so much more than just a number.
