My MIL had scans after her 3rd chemo session last week--the tumors are shrinking! She still has one in one lung and 7 in the other (she nicknamed them Snow White & the 7 Dwarfs) but they are getting smaller, meaning the chemo is working! She has 2 sessions to go, and then has to take a break, since it's hard on her kidneys. They had to put her on a med since her feet were swelling so badly (but kidney function test came out good).

GoalieMan's grandmother has shingles--which may keep my MIL from visiting her mom :(

My MIL is another of my heroes. Her spirit is so strong, and she takes everything in stride. Plus she had the patience last week to start teaching me & Drama Queen how to knit (oh how we need more lessons!) Now I know where my hubby gets his strength and optimism.
