I used to have classic migraines every week. Currently, I'm taking something for daytime sleepiness with far fewer. Why?

Facts:  It was found that I am having some hormone problems. 34yo cauc male.   Low T, LH, and FSH.  Hct high but not out of range.

I had been taking verapamil; one pill then two.  It helped, until my health to another downturn.  I found about my low T count.  Doctor put me on Provigil once a day (currently twice a day) and started hormone therapy 5 mo ago.  I tried Androgel for 3 months.  At 6 weeks T was up and then it dropped much worse.  No more Androgel.  LH and TSH were tested and found to be under normal.  Tests show High (but not over normal range) blood counts for raised iron with low plasma and blood volume.

I only have migraines when completely exhausted.  I've only had few bad ones lately.  My headaches have been proven to be linked with fatigue.  I found no food related or any other triggers.  MRI last year is normal.

What ever is happening is getting worse.  Provigil is not helping a great deal anymore.  As I become more fatigued and exhausted, I seem to get more headaches.  Is this because I am being pumped up to perform all day and I want to crash, but I cannot regulate anything so I am all screwed up and my brain can't deal with it?

Could I have migraine like symptoms with a pituitary or hypothalamic disorders which have been idicated by tests other than MRI?  Why would I have more headaches from fatigue in this case?  Keep in mind my hormones are lowering.
