Hi, i'm getting a sort of throbbing when i close my left eye shut

i can move it around fine when its open, also i've got a headache.
this pain started yesterday, and has continued today. i do wear glasses and always thought there was something wrong with this pair. to put the feeling in more details. it feels like when i close my eye firmly shut that there's something stuck behind it, if that makes any sence.
i'm going away on holiday in a weeks time so i wont be able to get an appointment @ the doctor's in time, ive been reading around and i dont think i should be worrying myself about it. But i though i ought to check
