I've never used it myself, but know quite a few people who have. Migranal Nasal Spray is dihydroergotamine (DHE) in nasal spray delivery formula. It's a Migraine abortive intended to stop the Migrainous process in the brain and the symptoms of a Migraine attack. It should not be used within 24 hours of a triptan medication such as Imitrex, Maxalt, Zomig, etc.
Also, it should not be used more than two or three days in a week because it has the potential for causing medication overuse headache, aka rebound. For more on this, see Medication Overuse Headache - When the Remedy Backfires.
One other thing -- ergotamine medications should not be used if you are or suspect you may be pregnant.

I've never heard of this drug, and I thought I had tried them all! Has anyone used it sucessfully or with bad results?
