what is causing my right arm or leg to get weak or numb at times.

Posted by God's Own

Lately my right arm or my right leg will get weak or numb. I don't know if it's anxiety or stress or what. I've been to the hospital numerous times but they can't find anything wrong. Please help me figure out what's going on with my body.

Do you have a regular family doctor?  You might need a referral to a neurologist to look into this recurring numbness, especially if it is limited to one side like that.  Good luck.

An emergency room visit often does not address root causes since the staff is focused on treating the immediate problem.

I suggest you see a neurologist or neurological chiropractor. Could be as simple as a pinched nerve, but might also be stress-related.

Only a thorough medical exam will clarify.

Well since I had surgery, an partial hysterectomy, my right thigh has severe pain and it gets weak.  I do believe that it was caused by the surgery back in July of 2006.  I even fell because my right leg gave out on me.  Ive had several MRI's and could only find difficulty in my back.  I am very frustrated in regards to this happening to me frequently.  I don't even work due to the stress I put on my right leg and left foot.  Please help.
