In looking at the research, Autism is likey caused by a spectrum of contributing factors ranging for genetic predisposition to low serum D to candida and pathogenic microflora in the GI tract.  Mercury in immunizations shut down metallothionein which may also be a contributing factor.  There are just too many smoking guns for this complex disorder - Motherhood Maternity
