The Mind's Eye

Posted Jan 07 2009 6:53pm
Perception refers to the interpretation of what we take in through our senses, and when the subject is an optical illusion this means we use the sense of sight. Our eyes.

But sometimes, perception can be fooled. Optical illusions make the mind's eye see see things that may or may not be there.

Illusion 1: Can you count the black dots?
Illusion 2: Do you see black splotches or is there something else?
Illusion 3: Move you head back and forth and see the picture move.
