In the early 1990’s, Risperdal and Zyprexa were introduced into the market - and touted to be safer and more effective than the earlier neuroleptics (antipsychotic drugs)….
Additional ones followed….According to the drugmakers, the entire class of these newer, “atypical” drugs promised hope.
They turned out to be a failure - no more effective, and less safe [...]
