Free Mental Health Humor : Medicated Death -
I thought I would review a few medications. Since many of our readers might have been on quite a few of them at one time or another. If you have been keeping up with the post, then you already know, I’m big into the use of medications as part of a treatment plan… Given I was off meds for two years and all the horrors that brought to the family… I’m for what works. I was not really given much choice. Either I take my meds or I loose my family… Well, taking my meds is an easier pill to swallow then loosing my family. Still, it goes a little deeper than that cause I am able to function much better on meds. I feel more like myself.
But whenever you talk to other consumers/clients, the tendency is to compare our war stories about what mental hospitals we’ve vacationed at. Which ones have the best breakfasts or it’s a competition to see who has been on the most “pills”. I have to admit, I like our banter sometimes.
So with that in mind, I’ll let you tell us about the meds you have been on and then I’ll tell you mine tomorrow.
