Remember last year when you decided to write letters to yourself and read them a year later to see what a difference a year makes? Well guess what? That idea turned out to be kinda awesome, and it really helped you. So we're doing this again!
December 2010 Letter - Where it really all began. December was when you started losing weight. When you started taking charge of your health (mental and physical) and look how far you've come!
December 2011 Update - Weight loss slowed down and depression set in. You realised it was a seasonal thing, but despair did not win!
This time last year . . . . You were taking pictures and learning to recognize signs of depression as they came. You also recognized signs of hope ! Every year during this season you let the holiday get the best of you. You let not having children make Christmas suddenly a season for grief instead of celebration of life. The older you get the more painful it can be dealing with infertility. But this year you've made so much progress. You've made your own family. Created out of bits and pieces left to you from aunts, cousins, in-laws, a wonderful sister, the cutest nieces and nephews, wonderful friends and a loving husband. Don't let the season get the best of you. Make the best of the season!
