Before becoming a rehabilitation counselor, I was a recreational therapist - where I coached blind athletes in beep baseball and goalball, managed a blind bowling team, and coordinated wheelchair sports. I was also fortunate to have the opportunity to coach Special Olympics – both swimming, and basketball.
