I'm currently researching the topic of clarity for the next Positive Living E-zine by INPM and have discovered a wealth of information. At first I was stumped, thinking, "What is clarity and what does it have to do with me?" Then I looked up the definition. "Clarity is clearness of thought or style; lucidity". It is obviously something we all desperately need in our life.
One of my symptoms of depression is a lack of clarity. It's like a muddiness of the mind that is difficult to explain. I'm not sure how antidepressants work, but it brings clarity of the mind in addition to easing the burden of depression.
Here is an interesting article about one woman's experience with decreasing mental clarity as a result of a chemical imbalance and about her struggle to receive the help she needed.
