I'm trying to find the reason for these annoying "habits" I've had for a long time. The most bothersome symptom is that I'm constantly 'tapping' my toe while I walk. I feel that my right toes aren't getting as much stimulation as my left toes, so I "have" to tap my toe... ALL. THE. TIME. The urgency instantly goes away, then builds up again. I've ruined about ten years' worth of shoes this way.
If the tapping isn't enough, I have to line up my right shoe with a crack in the sidewalk. And I have to look at it lined up with my right eye only. I'm always trying to line up objects onto a right-side body part and look at it with only my right eye. This sounds crazy writing it all down, but I can't make this stuff up!
This occurs all day, every day, and every time I try to contain the movement, it builds up until I can't stand it anymore and I HAVE to allow myself to do it. It's driving everyone (including me) crazy and I don't know what to do about it!
