Dear jdyromo,
During perimenopause and Menopause, lubrication may decrease and micro tears can appear during intercourse, even if there is no pain. See your MD and get checked out to be sure there is no other condition causing this and to double check that there is no infection. If all checks out, you may wish to use a personal lubricant before and/or during intercourse. This should help with any tearing. I will be writing a blog post about this very issue in the next couple weeks - check it out on my or right here on Wellsphere.
Good luck, keep us posted on what you find out.
