post menopausal tingling in lower legs when hot

Posted by drja

Lower legs tingle/itch from a hot bath.  Slathering with oils or moisturizer stops it.  I would like to know what it is causing it so I might add to my diet to stop it from happening.

Thank-you, but I am in excellent health. No skin problems ever and no circulatory problem

After I posted, I recalled tingling after taking niacin years ago.  This is like that, but distally, only in lower legs and forearms.

I never had it until it started within months post hysterectomy.  I just thought it a postmenopausal phenomonem until I recently mentioned it to other menopausal women who did not have it.
