A new survey found that nearly 60 percent of women between the ages of 45 and 65 aren't being treated for the symptoms associated with menopause, including hot flashes, night sweats, sleeplessness and irritability. The survey also found that nearly 90 percent of women are aware of over-the-counter treatments but only 35 percent feel comfortable talking to their doctor about them. The survey of more than 1,000 women was conducted in August by Esearch.com and sponsored by Novogen, Inc., the world leader in isoflavone research.
