Dear Sereon,

I'm not sure if you were asking if this is a symptom of menopause or not.  I haven't heard that swollen knees and ankles are any part of the menopause transition and without more info such as when did this start, what is the pain like, does it improve with moving around, and so on, I can't be of much help other than to recommend that you be checked out by your trusted health care practitioner.  When we reach menopausal age, we also reach the age of arthritis and other joint problems - getting older is truly not for sissies.

Good luck!  Let us know how it goes.
