You didn't disclose your age so not sure if you are of Menopausal age. Even if you are, it's a good idea to see your MD and get checked if this is new for you. S/he can test your hormones to see if you have entered perimenopause or determine if the spotting is from some other condition.

If this is perimenopause, it may be the beginning of irregular cycles and bleeding/spotting. In any case, it is good to make sure.
