I was diagnosed with multi-centric DCIS (estrogen positive 98%) and had a left mastectomy., I was also tested for the BRCA gene mutation and have the BRCA2 mutation. I had a total hystectomy due to the increased risk of ovarian cancer. I am 53 and was starting to go through menopause at the time of all of this. If I have the right breast removed prophylactically, could I use the pellets. Is there any risk of estrogen positive reoccurrence with the pellets?
